Art Center Volunteer Coordinator Wanted

If you are creative-at-heart and want to share your time and talents with children (ages 0-3), then consider a rewarding volunteer position with Perry Hall Rec & Parks as the Art Center Coordinator. The supply closet is fully stocked! The multi-purpose room at Perry Hall Elementary School is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-3pm.  You will be responsible for collecting registration and fees, planning curriculu, setting/cleaning up and motivating youngsters to embrace their creative spirits. Open- ended art for young children: program expanded

The Perry Hall Art Center has a new home at Creative Same great open-ended art program for young children....expanded to include more than visual arts. We're now offering a full survey of creative arts -- visual, textual, musical, botanical and theatrical -- for kids ages 0 to grade 5. Classes run from September to May on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Fall 2010 Classes Enrolling Now

Join our classes in Perry Hall, MD through the Perry Hall Recreation & Parks Council. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday at the Creative Arts Center located in the Activities Room behind Perry Hall Elementary School. 
On Tuesday, caregivers of children ages 0-3 are invited to attend 9:30 to10:45 or 10:45 to noon; Thursday, caregivers of children ages 3-5 are invited to attend 9:30-10:45 or 10:45 to noon. School aged children (grades 1-5) are invited to attend Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30pm with a caregiver.
Classes are $25/each five-week session OR $125 for all five, five-week sessions from September to May with a two-class BONUS in December for signing up for the whole year! Curriculum will focus on visual, textual, musical, botanical and theatrical arts --- one discipline each session --- and loads of FUN, open-ended creativity projects based on educational themes.
